im a hero!! praise me!! okie okie im exaggerating.. i didn't exactly save a life.. well not yet... but some day... i will... fine, not just me lah... and probably alot of other nypians...wad did we do? haha we donated blood.. yup.. u saw right.. me the tofu.. the one whose probably afraid of everything.. the one whose always bumping into stuff... yes... i donated blood...

the blood thing was going on for some time already.. i think it started this week.. anyway, was waiting for my fren so me and karen decided to go for it.. well... all in all.. three of us... me, karen and kathrine (new classmate) stayed for it today...
blood donation.. hmmm... its really not as scary as it looks.. its really not as scary as it sounds... and im here to clear all doubts... haha.. i sound like some idiot trying to psycho people into this... but really... its not that bad... and u get a cute bandage to go along wif the hole in ur arm... the best part? u get to choose the bandage colour.. after much comtemplating between the blue with the cars and the orange with the smileys... i settled on orange... and karen got the yellow with bees...

so there i was.. with karen.. waiting for a really long time.. well.. long enough until i had to cancel plans... going through many tests like: blood pressure, temperature, blood tests.. and answer funny questions that u get bored after reading so many qns the answer becomes consistant.. everything is no no no...

after more waiting.. they should soo set up more stations man... really.. wanna donate blood also must wait so long... we were like waiting until its was at the stage that it sounded something like this: "y don't u just give me the damn bag and i just like slit myself and wring out the blood.. den we can go..." seriously.. i think we waitied for more than two hours lah... so yeah... after long tiring hours of waiting... we finally get onto the chair and get to do what we were there for.

the whole process... i was kinda suprised that it was so fast.. i think just the donating part lasted for about half an hour? around there... yeah... so its rather fast... haha with danni there to entertain us.. it seems so much faster. anyway, people who are afraid of pain? i was too.. but don't worry.. they just give u a small injection which numbs the surrounding area and then when e bloody fat needle goes in.. u don't feel a thing...

but just the sight of the fat thing in ur skin... it's kinda scary lah... and after donating a whole bag of blood... no.. u won't faint of anything... in fact, u don't feel a thing.. although its kinda compulsory that u haf to rest... so yeah.. above is my blood donating experience... and don't be suprised.. i really did it.. haha.. not so tofu anymore right? =)
