welll well well.. went to watch everlasting regret or rather everlasting love according to danni. she got a free ticket from playing some lame life game dunno when and she didnt want it to go to waste so me being the nice and kind and whatever me went along with her. the show was okie i guess, with sammi in the lead with alot of other good actors like tony leung and daniel wu but i felt that the show didnt really put them to full use of rather made use of their full potential. cause after the show, no feel. really..with the setting in the 1930s? you know the times when retro was not really the in thing yet.. yeah.. before that. wwwwaaayyyyyy before that. so anyway, with sammi and her very wierd chinese cum canto accent, the whole show sounded like.. wierd. duh. i didn't really get the meaning of the show and stuff cause it was kinda boring, talk, meets guy, sex, more talk, puffing on cigarettes, more talk, yum cha, meets new guy, more sex, more puffing on cigarettes, more sex, more talk, way more talk, alot more cigarettes and yeah. that more or less summorizes the whole story. everyone in that show is like a chimney, constantly puffing and stuff.. and the only form of violence was probably when sammi was strangled to death, which lasted for erm.. 10 secs? yeah.the first thing i noticed when we stepped into the cinema was that they were playing some really chinena-fied music. to get the pple in the mood i guess. then after that, when the show was about to start, guess what? we were probably the youngest ones around, in the less- than- half- filled theater. no rephrase. i was the youngest in that theater. hmmm....nevermind, and so as i was trying to concentrate on the movie and from freezing to death, the couple at the back would get sudden spasms and fits or smthg combined with the sudden bursts of laughter followed closely by very loud whispering. yeah. i so do not wanna know what was going on back there but its hard not to know cause their leg muscles or whatever would invoulntarily kick the chair so hard that even i could feel it. hmm... y don't you guys just get a room man.. i was seriously considering throwing popcorn to keep them quiet.after that, walk walk, talk talk and hog seats in yoshi for godknowshowlong and left just as they were about to close. hahah. and today, im gonna head back to the same place to celebrate yl's birthday. belated, very very belated birthday to be exact.
