i seriously sympathise with construction workers now. really. cause instead of staying home and storing up on the sleep lost last week, i had to go over to my uncle's new house to help out with the renovation. so yeah.. he's moving to sherwood towers, at bt. so had i had to drag myself out of bed to do manual labour. that's not the bad part. the whole day was spent dumping pieces of the cupboard that my bro had and cousin had reduced to pieces. and sherwood towers so happens to not have a dumping site so we had to load all the shit into the lorry to be brought somewhere else to get disposed of. talk about convenience. and just as we were bringing all the heavy, huge pieces of wood down, the damn security guard told us that we had to use only one lift, pad the lift if not the mirror will get scratched, the light will burst, the floor blah blah blah... whatever. and he didnt even had the deciency to let us put down the wood first before telling us of. right.... that's not all. he told us to use the stairs. omg!!! we're at the 22nd floor for goodness sake!!! use the stairs!!! we all just gave him this 'are you out of your mind' and look that didn't help. so stairs it was.the irritating part was that he seemed to be the only one who insisted on us doing this!! the other security guards after his shift all didnt seem to mind of rather didnt give a damn. they were rather nice instead... damn him. thank god he left after 12 so we didnt have to see his stupid face and hear his stupid reasons and what not. so up and down, up and down, we climbed that stairs so much i felt sick and probably thikn i did the amount of exercise that could last me for the next year or smthg. well, it doesnt help that we were all tired and irritated at the guard and my arms looks like im some kid with a sad life and has sucidal tendencies cause of all the scratches and marks that the wood left from all that carrying. oh and the clumsy me had to go kick a nail and get into more pain. it wasn't that bad but the nail was rusty and it bled quite a bit so my mum insisted on me seeing the doctor in case of infection and blah. so i had to get a tatenus shot and now my arm's aching like hell. so yeah. that was how i spent my first day without staying home doing assignments.
