Somehow, I managed to kiap my little finger between the door and how, not only do I have an ugly looking bruise, my finger looks like one of the aliens from Mars Attack, the one with the big head.

Eating too much chicken mashroom macaroni makes me sick.. argh
I'm tired. Just came back from work and barely two hours later, I'll be heading out again to celebrate yl and nette's birthday. Yesterday, it was the juniors who did the celebration, but today, ITS OUR TURN!! heh.
It'll be fun sitting around and bull-shitting. Screaming with laughter and just plain talking. I simply love sitting around with my girlfriends and doing nothing... =]
Did I mention that I was broke?
Anyway, its probably gonna be that way till I get my pay. But till then, I shall just enjoy myself doing things that don't require $$$ or just tag along with my mum. *hint hint*
Let's see.. Free things include, window shopping which is relatively depressing, going out to sea which is what I'll be doing tmr, sun tanning, exercising which is like, never, and staying at home rotting. How fun.

This is what that was put under the letter 'I' in the Singapore Encyclopedia on last Sunday's Life!
IJ is short for CHIJ, of Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus, a school founded in Victoria Street by Catholic nuns and priests. There are now 13 secondary and primary schools in the family. "IJ girls" is a generalisation for girls who study in CHIJ schools and who like to hem their school uniforms real short, wear their belts real low on their hips, and are allegedly easy when it comes to the opposite sex.But bad rep aside, they are also known for being smart, creative and wel-spoken, at least going by how alumni include actresses Andrea De Cruz and Sharon Au, singer Tanya Chua, model Charmine Harn and Campus Superstar finalist Teresa Tseng.I am shocked. This little article was in last Sunday's Life and from what it says, I would like to shoot whoever who wrote this thing dead. HOW THE HELL COULD HE/SHE SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!??!?!?!? FUCK OFF MAN! I love IJ and I am proud to be an IJ girl.
I am seriously insulted nevermind that I have been in an IJ school for almost half my life, she just insulted IJ girls young and old, and old girls including women as old as war heroine Elizabeth Choy. If it wasn't for her, you probably wouldn't be sitting at your computer typing all that shit about IJ girls. Ah whatever. I am digressing but who the hell cares man? I am fucking pissed lah!
Apparently, the chairman for the IJ alumni wrote into the forum, and if I'm not wrong, all 13 IJ schools are threatening legal action against The Straits Times. To date, there are 16,000 girls in these schools, not including old students. Bring it on man! I can't stand it. I will probably scream myself hoarse at whoever wrote that article and probably scratch his/her eyes out.
Now they know why they say don't ever pick a fight with girls.
Shit. I am still pissed. blah blah blah. I have to go do the ironing....

Guess what!!! Someone commited suicide like 3 blks away from where I stay! How creepy is that man. I didn't know until Siti msged me. And I thought nothing exciting ever happens around here. Apparently, my mum said that a few years back, someone also commited suicide at that block. She said that she was going to work when she met this old lady who told her that she heard like this loud sound and when she turned to look, this guy was dead beside her. Like WTH!! If I was that old lady, I would probably get a heartattack and died along with that guy...
Seriously, what is wrong with these people man. Nothing is better than living lah.. Go throw away your life like that. If you don't want it, give it to someone who is fighting hard for it... sheesh.. Ah whatever. It's not up to me to decide... Anyway... New blogskin.. I love it. =]

I'M BACK!!
And it was a.... relaxing trip. Okie fine. It was
boring.
Nothing to do, nothing to shop, nothing to see, basically, NOTHING. Yours truly went to Tioman, and if people tell you that it is a great place to go for a holiday, they are lying through their teeth and unless you are above the age of 45 and your daily schedule would be work work and more work with lunch consisting of take-aways or dry sandwiches, than Tioman would be the place for you. Other than that, I would strongly recommend that you stay away from that tiny spit of an island unless you want to experience what I have been through and what if feels like to be stranded on a deserted island with nothing more to do than to sleep.
Yes. It was
THAT bad. It was only a tinee winee bit away from being
Survivor Tioman. Well, for starters, yl and I were shocked at the size of the room. To add to the disappointment, we were given a warm welcome by a BIG FAT BLACK LIZARD, or should I say a miniature dragon? Afterall, that thing jumped/flew out. Maybe it was trying to flap its wings only to remember that it is a lizard? I mean, since when do lizards
Jump? It certainly seems like a great place for reptiles. I am scared of lizards, yl is
terrified of them. And that is Terrified with a capital T. Terrified. So we called housekeeping for some help and after four of the resorts' staff were activated, the fat ass was still not to be found. That night, I slept on the sofa instead of the bed cause the lizard was last spotted near my bed.
So yeah. There's nothing to do, no eye-candy except for yl and her korean
ajushi, and so our days on the beautiful island of Tioman were spent sleeping, suntanning which also included sleeping, eating and watching the vcds that yl brought. Even the channels in the resort were not of watching material. There was only one english channel and it was CNN. The rest of the channels were in malayu. How brilliant. We spent our pay for a trip that was boring-er than reading shakespear.
Ah whatever. I'm just glad to be home.
Oh and another thing. My brother told me that he got a new calculator, which cost...
$170!!Like WTH!!?!?! So much? But after looking at it, I kinda understand.

I mean, it has more buttons than my freaking remote control lah! Why the hell do you need such a high tech calculator which can draw graphs when you have your hand? Apparently, you can also play pokémon with it. Maths... I will never understand...

Alrighty! While waiting for the video to load, I shall chuck in some crap about the wedding since I was too lazy to do it before.
So anyway, the wedding is finally over. After almost 8 whole months of preparations, the big day came and it was a day of nerves. For both the bride and the family of the bride, probably cause its been a long time since something
THIS BIG actually happened in this boring family of mine. It's kinda fun I guess, cause the last time we had an event like this was like what?
Almost 15 years ago??? So yeah. Well, to put things in a simplier way, it was good fun.
Yours truly, together with my two other cousins and my sister were the bridesmaid aka
sai kang warriors. heh. Being a bridesmaid is not an easy job and it is even tougher to be rushing around, in three inch heels whose straps cut into your feet which unfortunately do not have soles like nike shoes. In other words, IT HURTS!! Ah.. but it doesn't matter I guess, we were too busy to be fussing over our own feet. Got up at an unrurly hour of
4.30 am and cabbed down to my grandmother's house. Had some time to grab a bite before the groom came to steal the bride. Oh and did I mention that I don't really like my new cousins?
My auntie is step mother to her husband's two sons who, in my case are jabronies. Younger Jabronie is 17 but a retainie at ACS and Older Jabronie is the same age as my sister. So yeah. From the looks of it, my whole family, extended family included, doesn't really like the two jabronies. Their dad is perfectly fine, so god knows what happened to his sons. haha. So don't blame me for being anti-ACS cause it is just proven, courtesy of ahem, that ACS boys are all macho shit and they talk shite, act all shitty and are rude jabronies. (you get my hint as to how much I like my 'new' cousins)
So basically, the whole day was busy busy busy, with the sai kang warriors doing this and that, taking the church decorations down in our gowns and suits and by the time that was done, this is how we looked like:

and guess what? it is only the first part of the wedding!!
But everyone looked fab the guys looked like penguins with their yellow ties (my auntie said it was compulsory for the guys to wear champaign ties so she bought them ties which in everyone's opinion were yellow ties but to her were champaign gold so.... ahem.) But it was a nice change to see them in something different other than jeans t-shirts. Ladies, looked gorgeous nonetheless. Haha. So yeah. I'm kinda lazy to blog about the rest but dinner was a blast, the marriott food is great although the grand ballroom is a little small. The decorations were beautiful, the bride was gorgeous, everything was sooo wha.... and yeah you get the drift.
The vocab for this entry is anything that describes beautiful, awesome, gorgeous and blah blah blah.
till then.. =]

The big day is finally over! Nothing to look forward to anymore, but everything went great and it was alot of fun, seeing everyone looking sooo formal... Pictures will probably be up when I get them and if I am not too lazy to post them up here. Oh it was probably the day when i missed my own performance on tv. Remember a crew came to my former work place and it was for some indian channel? yeah. On the day when I have 0.00001% hope of catching it. I knew I would not catch a once in a lifetime chance of myself on national tv even though I don't even understand a fraction of what the hell they are saying. And it doesn't help that my boss messages me at the most critical hour, (the dinner when the bride is walking into the ballroom) with such a happy sounding msg: YOU ARE ON VESANTHAM CENTRAL NOW! and I was like what? what? now? when there is no tv around, all the more vesantham central!?!? Ah but forget it. If I am destined not to watch how horrible I look on tv and how lousy my acting skills are then too bad. Its not that big a loss...
Oh and guess what? I just found out that our dear siti is attached to a company just behind my where I stay. Now how funky is that man? I could have been attached there and every morning, I can just jump down from my window and land in front of my office. James Bond style. Ha
Oh and and and....
ITS THE FIRST DAY OF MY BIG BREAK!! THE FIRST DAY OF THE OTHER SIX MORE WEEKS TO COME!!!! yay! =]
So forgive me when I say I am too lazy to come out cause I will most probably be at home, listening to somewhere over the rainbow, watching Kim Sam Soon or bleach or pride or whatever I can dig up to entertain myself.
