Friday was a... really long day. Friday being Yvonne's last day (she's the intern here, and the apple of everyone's eye! We all love her =]), we probably spent the whole day giving her a farewell. I think no one was really in the mood to do any work as well, so lunch was at Suntec. Porridge buffet... Yeah, like how weird is that? Porridge? It's pretty unique and the food was pretty decent so that's fine. Talked and laughed and made her give her going-away speech in which she broke down after saying 5 words. Can't really blame her cause the working enviroment here is really excellent and I could tell that she really didn't want to leave. Well, hopefully after she graduates she'll come back to work...

Anyway, went to cafe del mar after work which was pretty mad in my standards since we left the office at about 8? and Karen and Uncle Chris had to go home to change, which makes it even crazier cause we reached Sentosa at around 11 plus. Cafe del mar was... nice ambience and all but the alchol is soo not meant for me. Two bottles of carlsberg and I was almost gone. Seriously. Let's see... The feeling of being high/semi-drunk is = feeling extremely sleepy, talking quite abit (according to my colleuges) and ur head swims. Literally. I mean, I was so knocked-out that I actually fell asleep on the beach, until it was time to leave. Somehow I managed to walk myself to the car, knocked out again until I was home and then I didn't even have the energy to bathe. Just managed to wash my face and fell dead asleep.

How stupid is that? I mean, when I got up, I could feel the amount of damage I was doing to my liver and I know I'm exaggerating expecially when I'm not a alchol comsuming freak, but it just felt so... argh... I don't know. Ah whatever. I'm just not meant to drink...

Yoga on Sun was fun but it was TIRING, and I'm proud to say that I am aching so much so that I couldn't even be bothered to tie my hair for work. Well, at least it's working.... Yoga I mean, so hopefully in a few months, I'd have a tonned enough body! =D

I can't believe it. I seriously thought I would be more fit, eespecially since I've been making it a point to start exercising like 4 times since last week but after yesterday's yoga lesson, I am aching. Not like aching Aching, but there's like a mild ache in my shoulders. Am I too inflexible or too unfit what? I mean, an hour of yoga actually does more harm than jogging for 40 mins? Wow. Well, whatever works man, as long as I start losing all that fatty deposits on my huge arse.

Yoga was a first for me and yl who had a free trial at True Yoga, and yoga is.... I can't even come up with a word to describe it. Fun? Hot? Relaxing? Well, it was hard to relax in a room with temperatures or 41 degress, and it wasn't exactly fun wobbling and trying to gain your balance while standing on one foot with your hands stretched up high above your head with your eyes closed. Now, come to think of it, it was definately HOT and NOT FUN, but I guess when you want something long enough and you think it will do you more good than harm in the future, there's no harm going with the flow now, is there?

Yup, the two of us, yl and I have finally gotten one thing striked off our very very long list of ToDos. Isn't it exciting? We've finally gotten down to doing something for real and not just saying and not doing! I think its pretty cool! Haha. Well, membership is not exactly the cheapest thing around, but it's pretty decent. And you know what? I actually think it'll train me to be more responsible. =]

A simple paragraph that yours truly had to translate for the Dumpling Festival at Chinatown for work and I almost died. So I roped in three other people in the translating process and I am proud that after the four of us put our heads together (okie, not so much me, but the other three did a really good job), we finally managed to translate that above paragraph from english to chinese.

ARE WE GOOD OF WHAT MAN??

My chinese has either improved, such that I managed to do that in chinese, or it has deproved till I had to rope in three other people to help in the translating process...

Of course it has improved lah!! Not easy okie... But I have to say that majority of the typing was done by Karen cause I seriously did not know how to type in chinese. I mean I DO know how to type in chinese but the way the chinese thing was done in my company was different lor. Even Karen has some problems... So yeah...

Well, least its an achievement to be proud of till I do smthg better and worth remembering.. haha

My mum decided to be funny and tied my freshly washed bikini to my penguin. The result? My brother laughing non-stop whenever he looks at it.


What can I say? Dots....

Work has been pretty okie I guess, the people here are a fun bunch and since I just started work, I can't really say much cept that this is a whole new experience and I'll learn tonnes of stuff... My sister just went to Paris for her holiday and I am once again, Jealous. Jealous with a capital 'J'. How come she gets to go to all the amazing places for holiday and I don't? She's going to Paris to meet her friend, then she's flying down to London and then to Holland.

NOT FAIR!!!

I WANNA GO TOO!!

ROAR!

Ah but I'm stuck here in Singapore working for my lappie.. Well, she can come back and tell me all about it and buy me presents so its fine. =] Have a great time girl~
